All classes listed are held at Ruhl Bee Supply unless otherwise noted.

    Next Beginning Beekeeping class is on Saturday, December 1,2007, starting at 9:30 and going until about 4PM. It is recomended that you have the book "Honey Bees and Beekeeping" "a Year in the Life of an Apiary" By Keith Delaphane".
  • Beginning Beekeeping $30/person
    A class for people with little more than a desire to learn about this wonderful craft. Great for someone just starting. Class includes starting with bees, spring management, splitting hives, disease & pest information, beekeeping & equipment terminology, package bees & much more.
    Session includes two evenings of instruction. Preregistration is required.

  • Skills Beekeeping
    This class will be designed around helping existing Keepers expand their knowledge, abilities and skills NOTE: Beginning Beekeeping Class or experience in beekeeping is recommended before attending this class. This class will be a one evening class with information & help with problems (students can bring in their equipment or problems for evaluation. We won't be able to work bees, but can look at dead out hives, ect. So if you want to come to a beekeeper improvement class, this should help you evaluate your problems.
